Youth Leadership Camp 2024

Vision Sports Ireland are delighted to announce our 2024 Youth Leadership Camp for teens aged 14-17. The camp is designed to empower and inspire young leaders. This year, we are taking a step forward by transitioning from our predominantly online youth leadership programme format to an immersive three-day residential camp at the Kilfinane Outdoor Education Centre.

The camp is designed to guide participants through a leadership learning process based on the key values of self-efficacy, respect, competence, dedication, determination, empathy, understanding, accountability and integrity which will all be done through fun methods.

This programme offers a pathway from CampAbilities to our Youth Leadership programme. This programme is ideal for young individuals who have previously participated in Camp Abilities and are looking to further develop their leadership skills. This programme is also open to new members of Vision Sports Ireland.

This camp offers participants the unique opportunity to experience a wide range of sporting activities and outdoor activities while interacting with other participants of similar age and vision impairment and grow in the areas of the camps key values.
