Guide Running Workshops

Guide running is where a sighted runner supports a vision impaired or blind runner to exercise, train or compete in a safe manner. Vision Sports Ireland and Athletics Ireland aim to create a network of guide running volunteers across Ireland to support people with a Vision Impairment to participate in the activity of running.

Course Info

The fee for this course is €15.

This course comprises of 2 sessions:

  • Online theory workshop (90 Minute) which takes place on a weekday evening in advance of the practical session.
  • In person practical workshop (60 Minute) which takes place on a weekend.

Should you register for the course, attending both days is mandatory.
