New Year, New Habits – Online Webinar & Exercise Series

Vision Sports Ireland is delighted to announce our ‘’New Year, New Habits’’ home exercise and three part webinar series, maximizing your health and wellness throughout 2022.

The webinars will cover three core areas; Health and Fitness, Mindfulness and Nutrition whilst the exercise classes will give you the opportunity to put your learnings into practice and look after your physical and mental health from the comfort of your own home.

Vision Sports Ireland is delighted to have the valuable contributions and expert speakers such as Sean Poland, Sarah Hourigan and Evan Lynch involved. The series takes place across three evenings 20th January, 3rd February and 17th February and is not to be missed. ‘’Achieve your Health and Fitness Goals’’

Presented by Sean Poland of Salaso Health – Thursday, 20th January

Sean Poland is a visually impaired personal trainer and fitness instructor with a BSc. in Health and Leisure in adapted physical activity qualification.

Join Sean this Thursday as he discusses physical activity benefits, guidelines, the various opportunities available to get active and how to set yourself SMART fitness goals that will help you succeed.

‘’Mind your Mind, Explore the Outdoors!’’

Presented by Sarah Hourigan of Nature Therapy Ireland – Thursday, 3rd February

Nature Therapy Ireland was founded by Sarah Hourigan in 2020 with the simple aim of helping you to rediscover your connection to nature and in doing so improve your physical and mental health and wellbeing.

The webinar will focus on the important role Nature plays in Health & Wellbeing, guiding participants to explore their connection to nature, sparking creativity and creating community.

‘’Fuel for Energy, Improve your Energy with a Healthy Nutrition’’

Presented by Evan Lynch of Evan Lynch Nutrition – Thursday, 17th February

Evan has completed a BSc in Food Science & Health, a P.G Diploma in dietetics, and is currently undergoing a Master’s degree in Sports & Exercise nutrition. He is a registered dietitian who specialises in working with people involved in sport.

Looking to improve your health ? This webinar will address how you can improve your relationship with food, educating people on the importance of a balanced diet. Further tips for healthy snacks and apps/websites that are available for further advise.


Home Exercise Classes

Yoga and Somatic Movement – Mondays 7pm

Improve your strength, balance, flexibility and general health and well-being from the comfort of your own home with our yoga and somatic movement summer programme which will be delivered by Vision Sports Ireland Laura Dowdall who has worked with the NCBI, Vision Sports, and the Anne Sullivan Centre since 2015.  This programme will help improve your balance and mobility as well as having a positive effect on your physical and mental health. Over 50’s Movement, Balance and Stretch – Tuesdays 9.30am

The sessions will be delivered by a fully qualified instructor who will lead participants through a joint mobilisation and muscle warm up, followed by cardio, movement to music, strength and balance work this class is suitable for all abilities

Zoom Fitness (Cardio and Strength) – Wednesdays 6:30pm

Zoom Fitness is a high intensity cardio workout including strength exercises that are suitable for all abilities

Nature Mindfulness – Thursdays 10am

This programme will allow you to connect with Nature from the comfort of your home. It will be delivered by Sarah Hourigan of Nature Therapy Ireland . Nature Therapy Ireland was founded in 2020 to share the physical and mental health benefits that can be experienced by exploring your connection to nature
