Become a Volunteer

Volunteers play an important role in the work of Vision Sports Ireland. We have two types of volunteer support we require at Vision Sports Ireland.

Programme support:

In partnership with NGB’s and LSP’s around the country, we run specific programmes for different sports. Generally the volunteers for these are recruited locally through the NGB. If you wish to volunteer in a specific sport, area or activity please contact Rosie Keogh at rosie@visionsports.ie. Recruitment and vetting will be completed through the NGB rather than Vision Sports Ireland.

Event support: 

The main opportunity to volunteer with Vision Sports Ireland is through our flagship event, MayFest. MayFest takes place on Saturday 16th May 2026 with volunteers required in areas such as guiding participants, taking registrations, assisting with activities, signposting to areas and general duties. Recruitment is currently open, please email Rosie on rosie@visionsports.ie to express your interest.

Please note, before becoming a registered volunteer with Vision Sports Ireland, all applicants are required to follow the Vision Sports Ireland Volunteer Policy and complete Garda vetting through Vision Sports Ireland.
