Vision Impaired/Blind Tennis Kildare

In what will be an exciting start to 2022 Naas Lawn Tennis Club will launch a Vision Impaired/Blind Tennis programme on Tuesday February 8th. Vision Impaired/Blind Tennis is rolled out by Tennis Ireland supported by Vision Sports Ireland and local stakeholders. With programmes across the country the aim is to create an opportunity for people who are blind and vision impaired to access a Tennis programme in their county. The game is played indoors with a soft ball which has a bell in it.

If you have a Vision Impairment or know someone with a vision impairment this is the chance to try an incredible game in a fun, social environment.

No sport experience required, the programme will be delivered by fully qualified Tennis Ireland coaches and volunteers will be on hand to support players to learn and progress.

This programme is a collaboration between Tennis Ireland, Vision Sports Ireland, Naas Lawn Tennis Club, Kildare Sports Partnership, NCBI, Naas Access Group and Kildare Community Garda.

Where: Naas Lawn Tennis Club
