Vision Sports Ireland proudly introduces the ‘I Can’ Programme, a transformative 6-week 1:1 health and well-being intervention exclusively for members of Vision Sports Ireland.
This innovative programme is meticulously designed to empower you, our valued participant, in taking control of your health and well-being.
This 6 week programme will provide the essential tools and resources to empower you to improve your health and physical activity levels.
The programme is delivered over the phone or via video call.
Are You the Right Fit?
Consider your candidacy for the ‘I Can’ Programme based on the following criteria:
- Age: This programme is targeted at participants aged 50 years and over.
- Activity Level: Do you lead a sedentary lifestyle? Are you engaging in physical activity less than twice per week?
- Nutrition: Beneficial if you want to learn and improve dietary habits.
- Sleep: Most suited for those who don’t regularly achieve 6-8 hours of sleep per night.
- Mental Health: Stress management techniques
Personalised Health Coaching
- Over the course of six weeks, you will receive personalised guidance from our expert Health Promotion & Physical Activity Practitioner.
- The practitioner will coach you on how to make healthy changes to your diet and lifestyle.
- This one-on-one approach ensures that the programme is tailored to your unique needs and goals.
The ‘I Can’ Programme delves into various critical aspects of health and well-being:
– Diet: Understanding the benefits of a whole food diet.
– Physical Activity: Understanding the benefits of being physically active and how to increase to daily movement.
– Goal Setting: How to set and achieve goals.
– Stress Management: Learning techniques to effectively handle stress.
