Vision Sports Ireland in collaboration with Motorsport Ireland, supported by Sport Ireland, are pleased to announce Windsor Motors as the corporate sponsor for the Zero Limits Track Day events for a second year running, in 2022.

Born out NCBI’s Strategy, ‘Changing Perceptions 2021-2023’, Vision Sports Ireland are proud to have Windsor on board for another year whose core values of “harnessing the power” of a smile and ‘Drive happy’ ethos aligns with our mantra, making the dreams and aspirations of our members a reality!

Brian Quinn, Windsor Group Head of Marketing commented on the sponsorship, ‘’We were delighted to partner with Vision Sports Ireland again for the second year of their Zero Limits Track Days at Mondello Park. Last year was such an amazing day for all of the participants so the opportunity to be involved again was something that we were more than happy to support.’’

By working with likeminded people who are passionate about innovation and creating opportunities, Vision Sports’ Zero Limits Track Day has doubled in duration for 2022, enabling double the number of participants across the two days.

Vision Sports Ireland CEO, Aaron Mullaniff commented ‘’Through Windsor’s generous support we can once again collaborate with our NGB partners and Sport Ireland in ensuring that a diagnosis of a visual impairment or blindness should not get in the way of any person participating in or thinking about returning to sport and leisure opportunities, at any level. Last year we showcased the ability and not the disability of our members, and we are excited at Vision Sports to yet again experience the thrills and emotions that will be realised at Mondello Park this coming July. It’s going to be a terrific day for all involved.’’

Art McCarrick, Motorsport Ireland Sporting Manager said “Following on from the success of last year’s Zero Limits Track Day we are delighted to help facilitate Vision Sports Ireland once again with this fantastic event. Being able to help give people who are blind or vision impaired the opportunity of a lifetime and to challenge perceptions showcases Motorsport Ireland’s versality as a National Governing Body. The fact the event aligns with Sport Ireland’s Policy on Participation in Sport by People with Disabilities is hugely important and it highlights to other NGB’s that effective partnerships in the Irish sports sector can be achieved, no matter how unlikely they may seem. We cannot wait to work Vision Sports Ireland once again and help make dreams come true on July 11th and 12th.”

Sara McFadden, Ireland’s first vision impaired Rally Navigator and 2022 Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy Member shared, “It is an honor to be involved for the second year in organising the Zero Limits Track Day. From the success of last year’s event, it is phenomenal that this year, with the support of our key stakeholders and sponsors, we are able to run the event over 2 days, more than doubling participation from last year’s event. On a personal level it is very special to be able to offer other people who are blind or visually impaired a firsthand experience of the sport which I am so privileged to compete in and has given me so much.”
