On Saturday March 4th Vision Sports Ireland, in collaboration with Carlow Sports Partnership, ran a Guide Running Workshop in SETU Carlow. The aim of our Guide Running Workshop is to continue to add to our network of guide runners across the country.

A cold morning did not deter these avid runners, with 7 new enthusiastic guide runners trained on the day. The participants have already completed Vision Sports Ireland’s online Vision Sports Awareness training theory session which provides the runners with the skills, knowledge and confidence to begin their guiding journey.

A special thanks to our tutor, Richie O’ Connor and Carlow Sports Partnership Sports Inclusion Disability Officer, Teresa O’ Meara for their hard work on the day and in the lead up to the workshop.
