Vision Sports Ireland are excited to announce the launch of MayFest 2023, with support from Associate Sponsors.
MayFest is Vision Sports Ireland’s muti-sport extravaganza weekend, packed with ‘come-and-try’ opportunities, competition and demo sport events for people who are blind and vision impaired, and their family and friends. This year, MayFest will take place in Dublin on the weekend of 26th – 28th May.
MayFest has continued to grow year on year since its inception in 1981. MayFest 2023 will have sports and activities for all ages and abilities. From Judo to golf, rock climbing to cycling, there will be something for everyone to try (and enjoy) over the weekend.
Vision Sports Ireland are also excited to announce that we will be hosting, in collaboration with the IRFU, the very first VI rugby game on the island of Ireland. This game will be held between our Irish VI rugby team and the Harlequins VI rugby team who are travelling over from the UK for the event. This is a history making game not to be missed and we encourage anyone who is available to get down and support our team on May 27th at UCD.
On Saturday evening, once the activities are finished, we invite all MayFest attendees down to the Talbot Hotel Stillorgan for a social catch up. We will be providing food and music at this free event, giving our MayFest attendees the opportunity to catch up with old friends and hopefully make some new ones. This is sure to be a great night and we ask that you register for a ticket to secure your place.
